A lovely cotton tie made by American Eagle at a time when they didn’t make controversial ads for low-quality garments, and instead just made good, reliable clothing. This tie strikes a balance between timeless design and casual nonchalance, with its beautiful blue, green, and yellow medallions set on an a background of rich, but easy-going, red cotton. This would pair nicely with any tweed ensemble, a simple navy blazer and khakis combo, or even a wool cardigan with denim jeans.

A gorgeous example of a classic, American, regimental stripe repp tie in red, with golden-tan, navy blue, and bronze stripes, hand sewn by Jacob Roberts for the James Store. The photos make the strips appear whiter than they are, but under natural light, their warmer tones lend to a decidedly worn-in, vintage look—very Ivy. This is how the tie was designed and it is in immaculate condition.
